Un Restricted

this is the front of the free shirt which is further described below.

Explanation

Temporary Exoticism

Any exoticism experienced from a shirt of unknown origin and meaning is meant to be temporary. There is something to enjoy about the opportunity for imagination about the mysteries that remain around shirts of unknown provenance. The design on this shirt in particular does not seem to offer obvious clues as to origin or intended meaning.

Still, I would prefer to know what this shirt was supposed to express than to revel in self-absorbed ignorance. If anyone can provide an explanation with proof I would be interested in unrestricted learning.

TV Casualty

FSA Donor Phil* testified that he was given this shirt as promotional material at a restaurant that he worked at during a weekend evening. When I asked him what the shirt meant he did not know, but that he would ask other people at work. I was told that those other employees stated that a television pilot ⇒ of a Hollywood news show was being promoted that night. Unfortunately, I have never found any substantiating details of any American television show named Un Restricted made before, during, or after 2002. I would prefer to think that Phil was ill-informed by his co-workers.

I have found proof of a show named UnRestricted that was commissioned by the Canadian Broadcasting Company ⇒ which dates to 2011. The show stars a trio of friends named Mitch St. Pierre, Skot Sanderson, and Shawn Kazda. The men in search of locations such as Fordlandia ⇒, Metro 2 ⇒, and the Third Tunnel of Aggression ⇒. I doubt that UnRestricted has any relation to this shirt because nine years passed between the shirt donation and the show’s broadcast, it would be odd for a Canadian television show to do promotion in the Midwestern United States, and the vastly different genre from the alternate explanation.

Nude Model United Nations

My first suspicion was that the shirt was some sort of unclear anti-United Nations ⇒ (“UN”) sentiment. After comparing the phrase with other right-wing populist sayings, however, I found that the design on this shirt is atypical in both style and degree to current Tea Party thought. Blunt language expressing simple ideas is preferred over ambiguity. According to the conspiracy theory of choice in those circles, merely restricting the UN is not good enough; they feel that elimination of the UN is required to prevent the “New World Order” from taking over America.

VIP

A later idea that I thought of is that perhaps this shirt was used as an access credential. Thinking of the idea led to the image of a bunch of people running around wherever they want because they have this shirt. Sadly, this is not likely to be the case. First, a generic access shirt would most likely not separate the prefix from the root. Second, most possible specific entities that would commission a shirt for entry purposes would likely put in their logo or name somewhere on the shirt.
