I went to Julie's place one time and she had me wait while she got a shirt that Lucas was going to throw out. I always like to be thought of before the garbage, so I anxiously awaited to see what Julie had in store for me. This is the shirt that she presented for my consideration. I liked it and accepted it into the archive. At first, I thought that I accepted the shirt for myself.

Although I like early Monster Magnet, Mac is a bigger fan of the entire Monster Magnet canon than I am. So, I gave him the shirt since I figured that he would therefore enjoy the shirt more than I. As I expected, Mac was very appreciative of this free shirt.

"Space Lord Mother Fucker" is a line from the Monster Magnet song "Space Lord" off of the "Powertrip" album. The song is ok, but certainly not representative of Monster Magnet as a whole. By this point, Monster Magnet had started using better equipment and less psychedelic and directly space rock related. As stated before, I much prefer the earlier albums for their more primitive sound and trippy vibe.

Julie was not happy at first about not getting acknowledged as a donor in the main archive for this shirt, but I was able to explain the case that the free shirt archive is all about me. That and she is credited with Real Men Admit They Love Cats.

By the way, I do not mind shirts with cussing. Feel free to put them up for donation.
