Junga On The Issues

Judge Lest Ye Be Elected Judge

After serving 10+ years as a public defender, Attorney Christopher T. Junga ⇒ earned the opportunity to run unopposed in the 2010 Primary Election as the Republican party candidate in the race for one of seventeen judgeships offered within the Franklin County, Ohio Common Pleas Court General Division ⇒. Junga then ran against the incumbent Democrat Judge Laurel Beatty ⇒ on the November 2, 2010 General Election Ballot. Both candidates decried judicial activism ⇒ during their campaigns.

Junga received 83,241 votes (page 3) ⇒. That amount, however, accounted for only 32% of the total ⇒. Beatty was victorious. Her second term started on January 6th, 2011 and will conclude on the same day in year 2017.

Missed Opportunity

I failed in my duties as a citizen by not voting in either election when Junga was running. There is no excuse, it just did not happen. I failed society for an entire year.

My feelings about my failure in regards to the two elections that Junga was a part of range from apathy regret. I only cast non-partisan ballots in primary elections; I chose myself unable to be able to vote for Junga and will do the same in the future. Missing the General Election, however, deprived me of having input on a number of candidates and issues.

None of this means that I would have certainly voted for either Junga or Beatty. I do not feel that I really would have known enough about either candidate to have made a decision of which I could be proud.

They Do Not Even Pretend To Want My Vote

Shirts from political campaigns that end up on this site have yet to be from any candidate that has won. The main reason is likely that I am too little of a person with far too few dollars to target even though I operate a website as a hobby that could reach some random people.

No candidate nor their election committee has ever directly given me a promotional shirt. My donations are from those people that are deemed worthy. Those worthy people do not get shirts to me until after the races have been determined. Fortunately, I do not mind receiving shirts after the campaign has concluded. I do not have to worry about the appearance of endorsement.

Hi, Chris.

Looking through referral logs has aroused my suspicion that Attorney Junga, or someone acting upon his behalf, has viewed this dossier. It is kind of odd to think that the subject of a shirt featured on Free Shirt Archive would ever read about their own shirt. An ego search, using a search engine on one’s own name to see the results, is the most likely through which they discovered that someone still has their memorabilia.

No further attempts at contact beyond visiting this page have been made by the suspected visitor. Who knows how he feels? I hope that Junga enjoyed being highlighted on a random page on the World Wide Web. I also wish that I had edited the version of the page that he or his surrogate read; if I knew that they were stopping by I would have better honored their visit with clearer thought and sentence structure.
