A Rare Old Time

When announcing a party in-person to invitees, Donor, Receiver, & Donor Ian* would enthusiastically proclaim “Ian’s Party! Ian’s Party!”. There was three total officially titled Ian’s Party! Ian’s Party!s. I attended the first and third partiees held in Columbus, Ohio. I found both to be quite fun. I was not informed about the second party which took place in Cleveland, Ohio. This Ian’s Party! Ian’s Party! was also co-branded Mondafest! as seen on the back of this shirt. A fourth party was planned, but never happened.

Party Favor

A party with limited access can only be made more memorable with limited edition clothing. This shirt was one of ten screened by non-donor Monda who is the man associated with Mondafest.

This shirt was Ian’s personal copy given to him by Monda. I am honored that Ian would think to give me his personal shirt for a series of events that honored him. He initiated this donation. I would never ask some for a shirt that was made in their honor.

Being able to experience the party and have the most rare item from the party is quite neat. Few ideas expressed by the shirts within the archives get to be experienced to such a degree.
