Explanation

Sweaters

A sweater is a tops that is usually knit together with yarn. Such a garment is typically worn in cold places or colder times of the year.

Despite having a website that practically overthinks the meanings of branding, I yearn to get non-commercial free shirts. The rationale for my preference goes beyond just being different from other shirts throughout the Free Shirt Archive. What I like is that there is nothing profane being communicated by a plain article of clothing, and nothing sacred either. Though the sweater is created for purchase after that it is free to simply exist.

If only there was a way to get rid of that pesky money requirement. A truly free existence would be quite enjoyable. Perhaps my friends that know how to knit or sew could make me a free sweater or shirt to make for a peak of good intention and effort. I fear that someone that I do not personally know might try to do so just for the minor publicity of being mentioned on this site. A true exercise of altruism by a corporation or small business simply will not happen in a capitalistic society.

Blue

Donor Eli* provided the Blue Sweater to me while hanging out at Donor & P'FSA Receiver Nick*‘s place. I remember that he was concerned that I would not wear this sweater because it did not have a design. I assured him that I would, and I followed through.

There is no photographic evidence of the Blue Sweater as a result of moving a few times since I was given this sweater. At some point, I became unable to locate this particular sweater. I think that it is floating around somewhere. In the event that I do find this sweater, I shall update this dossier with a photo along with text to that effect.

Brown

Being a person that knows some things, but not others, about computers I earned the reputation of computer guy. One of Donor, Receiver, & Proofreader Brian*‘s neighbors had no idea what was happening to her computer. Whatever the problem or solution was has been long forgotten. What I still clearly remember was offered two bags of clothing for my trouble. This sweater was the only worthwhile object.

The Brown Sweater is among the tightest fitting of all of my clothing. Yet, this sweater earns me more compliments than most other shirts throughout the archives. I do not understand why for sure. My hypothesis is that the design evokes something youthful in other peoples’ minds.
