G-E-N Logistics Systems, Inc. ⇒ is/was a company that sells the ProVision suite of software to facilitate transportation asset management. At the time of donation, ProVision utilized a combination of Radio-Frequency IDentification ⇒ and Global Positioning System ⇒ technologies within a proprietary interface. I understand that the suite would get a web interface a few years later.

I have no experience with the ProVision suite. Based upon the questions that I have received in regards to this shirt, no one else does either. The company website claims to provide a demo ⇒, but does not provide any login credentials. What a shame.

Phony Number

The 1 (800) 968-4574 telephone number printed on this shirt goes straight to an intercept message at the time of this writing. As such, there was no opportunity to dial or ask for an extension number. My best guess is that the company decided to stop paying for a toll-free number. Most of the other numbers listed on the website also do not connect.

I was able to reach an answering machine with a message that identified itself as GEN Logistics at the telephone number (860) 499-0776. Whoever performed the recording seemed rushed. I want to give the company the benefit of a doubt, but I admit that I am suspicious based upon that person’s performance.
