Dirty Thoughts

Betty R. Johnson is the proprietress of a cleaning company that bears her name started in 1978 based out of Akron, Ohio. The company hires around 70 people. Sales are reported to be in the very low millions.

The company seems to have never created an official online presence. Due to the collective tendency of the World Wide Web to fill any information vacuum with something, I appreciate finding topics that have been overlooked. The mystery created in absence of such information leaves room for imagination. I temper my interest with the knowledge that the truth about the company is likely only as interesting as a clean floor and that if B.R. Johnson did have a site it would probably be on par with Elmo Tire, Inc.‘s page ⇒.

Trip Wire Map

Early one morning, Donor, Donor, Receiver, & Proofreader Adam* obtained this shirt from atop a recycling bin. Later that night, he gave me this shirt at a quality-attended party of his hosting. My clearest memory of the party, outside of the shirt, was playing a game of Scattegories ⇒ that devolved into a number of heated arguments.

Son Of An Itch

Lessons learned are forgotten at one’s own peril. Believe me, wash any shirt upon acquisition, especially if the shirt has been sitting on a recycling bin. I did not do so and within a short period of time those parts of my skin that were in contact with the cloth were itchy and red. I ended up being fine after washing myself and then the shirt, but my pride has never recovered.
